The rules for buying from this site. The section on what the material does and does not do is the one worth reading — we would rather you buy knowing what you are getting.
Who you are buying from
Velvut Pte Ltd (UEN 200912071C), a Singapore company and the exclusive Singapore distributor for NAMO ELEMENTi. Reach us through the contact page.
Prices
Everything is priced in Singapore dollars and includes GST — Velvut Pte Ltd is GST-registered under UEN 200912071C. Delivery is added on top and shown before you pay: S$5 flat, free on orders of S$50 or more. What you see at checkout is what you pay. No fees, no subscriptions, nothing recurring.
Prices can change, but never on an order we have already taken. If something is listed at an obviously wrong price we will cancel and refund rather than sell at it.
Placing an order
Checking out is an offer to buy. The deal is done when your payment clears and we email you a confirmation. Before that we can still turn an order down — if stock has run out, if the address is outside Singapore, or if the payment looks wrong. You get everything back if we do.
Payment runs through Stripe. Cards and the wallets shown on its checkout page. We never see your card number.
Delivery
Singapore only. We usually pack within one business day and it reaches you 2–3 business days after that. Those are estimates, not promises, and we will tell you if something slips. Once it is delivered, it is yours. Details on the delivery and returns page.
What activated bamboo charcoal does — and does not do
What it is. A passive adsorbent. Its pores hold odour molecules, moisture and VOCs on a very large internal surface. It works quietly, in the air immediately around it, with no power, no fragrance and nothing to refill.
What it is not. Not a dehumidifier. Not an electric air purifier. Not a disinfectant. Not a medical device. It will not dry out a damp room, it does not push air through a filter the way a fan-driven purifier does, and it is not sold to prevent or treat anything.
Why results vary. Size of the space, how enclosed it is, airflow, humidity, and what is causing the smell. A pouch in a shut wardrobe does far more noticeable work than the same pouch in an open living room. The coverage figures on the product pages are guides for enclosed spaces, not guarantees. And if something is actively producing the smell — damp, a leak, mould, food gone off — that has to go first. Bamboo charcoal handles what is left over; it is not a substitute for the repair.
Looking after it. At least two hours in direct sun, about once a month. Two years of useful life with that care. Do not wash the pouches or open the inner lining.
The figures quoted on this site — surface area, adsorption rate, useful life — come from the manufacturer and describe the material under its own test conditions.
Changing your mind, and things going wrong
Before we dispatch, tell us and we will cancel and refund in full. After that, the returns policy takes over — 14 days to change your mind on unused goods in their packaging, and a faster route if something arrives faulty or wrong. None of this cuts into your rights under Singapore consumer law.
We describe things as accurately as we can. Photos are illustrative, colour shifts between screens, and natural materials vary a little between units. Packaging changes between production runs.
What we are responsible for
Supplying goods that match their description and work properly. Where we are at fault, what we owe is capped at what you paid for that order, and we are not on the hook for knock-on losses. Nothing here removes liability for injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not let us exclude.
Keep pouches away from small children and pets, and do not let them get soaked or sit against food.
The rest
The NAMO ELEMENTi name belongs to its owner. The words, photographs and design of this site belong to Velvut Pte Ltd. Singapore law governs these terms and Singapore courts settle any argument about them. If we update the terms, the version that applies to your order is the one that was up when you placed it.
